Cingular - Where did we put the bar?





     Oh my god I hate Cingular. Whatever you do... DON'T GET CINGULAR WIRELESS. Allow me to explain all the problems I've had with Cingular. First off, they are expensive as hell. I bought two phones. One for me, one for Liz. Total cost per month = about $90.00 She's really the only person I intend to call, consequentially, she's the only person I have problems calling and/or staying connected to. Get this for an error message: "The number you have dialed is not a working number". I hate the bitch that did that recording. Anyway, the only problem with that error is the fact that I HAVE DIALED ABSOLUTELY NO NUMBERS WHATSOEVER. That's right. I'm connected and in the middle of my call when all of sudden I randomly hear that fucking recording. Other times I just get dropped calls.

     I've also been calling the tech support just about every day since Feb 17. They've done all sorts of shit and even changed my number -- nothing works. I'm just pissed now. And then after all this crap I've had so far, they wouldn't even take my money to pay for the damn things. Cingular is all screwed up. When I got my plan finally set up they didn't even have all the stuff included with it activated on my account. They also don't know how to count because for some weird reason it says that I've spent like.. 1500 of my night and weekend minutes and that Liz has spent over 700 minutes long distance. This is all fucked up. I'm too frustrated to be coherent right now.

      Oh and they're all so happy little fucks with their new commercials about how they've "teamed up" with AT&T and that they're "raising the bar". My ass. AT&T was a fucking hostile takeover and you don't even know where the fucking bar is to raise it. It's all shitty.

Update 03/19/05:

The new free "mobile to mobile" thing from Cingular is a hoax. It's only during daytime hours. Nights and Weekends take priority over mobile-to-mobile minutes. Good way to scam your customers, assholes. Bite me.
